1. Credit Card Transactions - Assigned / Unassigned
We would like to have visibility on credit card transactions that have not yet been assigned to Reports. As of now, we are only able to track card transactions once they get assigned to a report, but we would need to monitor the items that have not yet been assigned to any reports to ensure users comply to our internal policy.
To achieve this, ideally we would like to extend the information within the expense_entry table with unassigned credit card transactions and the following columns:
- Transaction Status Value (mainly interested in "assigned to report"/"unassigned to report")
- Reference Number
- Transaction ID
- Posted Date
- User Name
- Reporting Currency Code
- Approved Amount (Reporting Currency)
- Reimbursement Currency Code
- Approved Amount (reimbursement currency)
- Posted Amount (reimbursement currency)

Hi Hardy,
This is a valuable idea and has been added to our feature improvements backlog. To better understand your needs, could you share more about how unassigned credit card transactions impact your current reporting or compliance processes? Understanding your workflow will help us scope the feature effectively.
We will keep the community updated on this thread with any progress.
Thanks,
Tom

Hello Tom,
Our internal policy requires that all credit card transactions be included in expense reports. These reports are subsequently reviewed and approved by managers and the internal compliance team to ensure that company credit cards are not used for unauthorized or unintended purchases. We plan to calculate aging based on the posted date of each transaction. If a card transaction remains unassigned beyond a defined number of days, it will be tracked on a dashboard and flagged for managers, enabling them to proactively follow up with employees and request validation of the expense.
We are also open to other solutions that would helps us track these "unassigned" credit card transactions. Could you please provide us with a timeline on when could we expect this enhancement? Ideally we would need it by end of May.
Best regards,
Hardy
