We are using the Fivetran SAP Business ByDesign connector and have identified that the Materials table group is a re-import table that currently syncs once a week on Saturday.

Our business uses the Materials table more dynamically than a standard SAP ByDesign setup — material changes happen frequently and a 7 day lag before they are reflected in our Snowflake destination impacts reporting accuracy and operational decisions.

We would like to request a configurable re-import frequency for table groups, so customers can choose how often re-import tables are synced based on their specific business needs, rather than a fixed schedule.

Currently there is no workaround available to us — we cannot trigger a table-level re-sync from the UI or API, and a full historical re-sync takes 14 hours which is too disruptive to run more frequently. Whilst a manual table-level re-sync option would also be a welcome improvement, it would not be a sustainable long term solution as it would require manual intervention every time a critical change is made.
