Workday Adaptive Planning

Additional details:

Currently the Beta version do not have an option to connect through Oauth Authentication. Only Basic connection using login and password. It would be really helpful if Oauth Authentication is available since our organization allows only oauth logins.

    This is a valuable request. We are working on supporting a key based authentication used Workday credentials. Would that fit your organization's requirements?

    Hi Frank,

    Sorry, missed this. When you say key-based authentication using Workday credentials, do you mean something like OAuth (client ID and client secret), similar to what’s supported in the Workday Financial Management connector? If yes, that is exactly what would fit our requirement.

    One more question, since our business users are eager to access this data as soon as possible, is there a tentative timeline for when this key based authentication feature will be available to all?

    Hi Sruthi, 

    It would be slightly different than the Workday Financial Management setup. Here is the doc that explains how JWT authentication works for Adaptiv. The setup is different, but using this method you can authenticate using your Workday credentials. We are actively working on this feature improvement and I will share a release timeline when we are close to completion.
