Salesforce Picklist Value History Table
AnsweredWhich destination?: FIVETRAN_PICKLIST_FIELD_VALUE
Additional details: For Salesforce picklist values Fivetran syncs FIVETRAN_PICKLIST_FIELD and FIVETRAN_PICKLIST_FIELD_VALUE which are snapshot tables, meaning if picklist values are deactivated in Salesforce they're removed from Fivetran.
There should be an option to either set these tables as changelog tables, or enable another set of tables that are changelogs.

Thanks, Lyell, for raising this. We have seen similar recent requests from other customers who want to track when picklist values get deactivated, so it has been on our radar.
A few questions on the use case:
- Could you tell us more about the use case you are trying to achieve or what downstream workflow breaks when a deactivated value disappears?
- Would adding an
is_active/deactivated_atcolumn to the existing snapshot tables (soft-delete style) solve it, or do you specifically need a full changelog that captures every transition over time?
