Do Not Drop Unpopulated Workday RaaS Columns
AnsweredWhich connector?:
Workday RaaS Report
Additional details:
Today, the connector for Workday RaaS reports drops columns from extract that do not have data populated in them on initial syn, even though it is recognized on config in the schema and the primary key options in Fivetran. This makes it impossible to stage changes until real data is flowing through a production environment, and makes environment promotion a mess. It would be better to include columns populated on the schema for the RaaS report by default, and allow users to unselect them if they do not want to replicate them (like for other connectors). Otherwise it is confusing to see a column in Fivetran schema screen but not have it show up in destination.

Hi Tony,
Thank you for submitting this feature request.
This suggestion is now added to our feature improvements backlog. I am interested in understanding more about your workflow: Are there specific scenarios or development/deployment processes where missing columns cause disruption? Additionally, how do you currently work around this limitation?
Updates on any progress will be posted here for the community.
Thanks,
Tom
