Achieving default TLS-secured connection without the usage of certificates
AnsweredIn Amazon Aurora (MySQL-compatible), client connections can use TLS automatically because most modern drivers support TLS by default. This allows applications to establish encrypted connections without requiring explicit code changes or manually specifying certificate files in many cases.
We would like to achieve a similar setup in HVR, where TLS-secured connections can be used without the need to explicitly configure or provide certificate (PEM) files.
Is there currently any way to enable such behavior in HVR? If not, is this capability planned for future releases?

Hi Harshita,
Thank you for the request.
As I understand it, you would like HVR to support TLS-secured connections without requiring explicit configuration of certificate files, similar to how some modern drivers handle TLS automatically in Amazon Aurora MySQL-compatible environments.
We will investigate whether this is currently possible or could be supported in a future release, and we will come back once we have more clarity.
Best regards,
Edwin
