Secrets and Password management using AWS Secret manager

Hi Team,

Currently support team updated me that the Fivetran tool (in our case its Hybrid Model) does not support reading secrets from AWS secret manager for all secrets related to Source connection credentials, Target credentials, etc.

This is a serious compliance issue in our organization because the keys should not be hard coded in anywhere in configs or metadata tables even if they are encrypted.

 

Please take this on high priority to add the feature for Connections for Fusion and SAP HANA. and Redshift, S3 for Destinations

    Good news, we are already developing this feature for both hybrid deployment and Fivetran's managed service. If you'd like to enter the private preview program, simply contact your Fivetran account manager and we be happy to have you join.  This will make sure ESM (external secrets management) support is built for your requested Fivetran sources and destinations on a timely basis.
