Hi Rosa,
Thank you for your feature request regarding Instagram Follows for the Facebook Ads connector.
After investigating, we've found that the Meta Marketing API, which powers campaign-level ad reporting, does not currently expose Instagram Follows as an available metric. This means it's not possible to report on Instagram follows at the campaign, ad set, or ad level through the API, even though the metric is visible in the Ads Manager UI. Other developers have raised the same gap in Meta's Developer Community, and it remains unresolved: https://developers.facebook.com/community/threads/452912567552670.
In the meantime, if organic Instagram follower metrics are useful to you, the Fivetran Instagram Business connector does sync account-level follows and unfollows data via the Instagram Platform API.
We're monitoring Meta's API updates and will revisit this if they add campaign-level Instagram Follows to the Marketing API.
