Connector Improvement: Facebook Ads connector improvement: Saved Audiences
AnsweredWe'd get great utility from ingesting the catalogue of saved audiences connected to an individual ad account.
act_XXX/saved_audiences?fields=targeting,approximate_count_lower_bound,approximate_count_upper_bound
This would allow us to detect whether a saved audience was used on an individual ad set by matching the saved audience targeting vectors to those found on the ad set level. This is also the only endpoint outside of custom audiences where the estimated audience size is expressed, which would be of great utility in modelling ad performance.
Thanks for considering this as a simple extension of the Facebook Ads connector.

Hi Vid,
Thank you for your feature request!
We've looked into this and confirmed that Saved Audiences data is available through the Meta Marketing API via the GET /{ad-account-id}/saved_audiences endpoint. The API exposes the fields you need, including targeting specifications, approximate_count_lower_bound, and approximate_count_upper_bound, along with metadata like id, name, description, run_status, time_created, and time_updated.
I've created an internal feature improvement ticket to add a new saved_audiences table to the Fivetran Facebook Ads connector. While I can't provide a specific timeline, your request has been logged and will be considered in our prioritization process.
I'll follow up on this thread when we have an update.
Cheers,
Luke
