Connector Improvement: SAP OData Connector Config availability similar to SAP ERP on HANA

Hello Team -

We been using SAP "ERP on HANA" connector for a while and started exploring SAP OData.

Realized this connector set up is different to how SAP "ERP on HANA" connector is laid out.

SAP "ERP on HANA" connector let us set it up via SSH Tunnel, Proxy Agent, Private Network whereas SAP "OData" connector looking at direct connection to SAP system or Private Tunnel.

We went through so much work internally to get proxy agent set up which is being used for SAP "ERP on HANA" connector. Looking forward to know why we don't have SSH tunnel, Proxy agent connectivity available with SAP "OData" connector and if there's any plan for it in future ?

    Hi Amit,

    Thank you for raising this.

    We plan to extend the SAP OData connector to include the same networking options available for SAP ERP.

    Proxy Agent support for SAP OData is already available under the feature flag. SSH support is on the roadmap, but it is not currently planned yet. Let us know if the proxy already supports your use case.
