We would like Fivetran Cloud to support the following natively:

1. Environment-aware pipeline management
A way to define and manage Dev, QA, and Prod environments within the same account, organization, or linked accounts/groups.

2. Export/import or package-based promotion or Promotion workflow
Ability to export a connector or pipeline definition as a reusable package/artifact and import or promote it into another environment.

• Or a built-in promotion path such as Dev → QA → Prod, instead of requiring manual recreation or custom scripts.

The main value would be:

• clear separation between development, testing, and production workloads

• reduced risk of accidental changes in production

• easier promotion of validated configurations across environments

• less manual rebuild

• less configuration drift between Dev, QA, and Prod

• better governance, control, and auditability across environments

• simpler operational management for enterprise platform teams
