Connector Improvement: Pinterest Location Table
PlannedAs of today, the Connector is not bringing in the Geolocation data. This data is widely used as part of the optimization pathway for paid advertisers. It is also a requirement for reporting on GEO.
This data is available from Pinterest via their API, but we have to get it from 2 locations instead of simply using the existing Fivetran Connector.
Can you please look into adding the "State" and other Geolocation data to the connector?

Official commentHi Brad,
Thank you for raising this.Currently, the Fivetran Pinterest Ads connector syncs geo metadata tables (such as targeting_geo, targeting_geo_region, targeting_geo_metro, and targeting_location), but does not yet produce geo-segmented analytics report tables. I understand why you'd need the reporting breakdown, too. I've created an internal feature improvement ticket to add geo-level reporting to the connector.
While I can't provide a specific timeline, your request has been logged, and we will prioritize adding this to the connector given the importance of the use case. I'll follow up on this thread when we have an update. Thank you for helping us improve the Pinterest Ads connector.
Cheers,

Hi Brad,
We're working on this now. We submitted an access request via our support team. The request was routed to one of your account admins, Ashok. We need access to test the API response to finish testing this feature.
Can you please reach out to your colleague and ask him to approve the request?
Thanks,
Luke
