Connector Improvement: Google Ads - AI Max Identification

The current Google Ads connector does not allow users to identify which campaigns are being run with Google's latest product AI-Max. As this product continues to gain traction in the marketing space, it is imperative that this field is added to the campaign_history report.

The field in question is: campaign.ai_max_setting.enable_ai_max

The Google Ads connector currently supports only ai_max_search_term_ad_combination_view which provides a row for every impression url that an AI Max campaign was included on, forcing users to ingest more rows than are required.

    Luke from the Product team here. Thanks for submitting this.

    I've created a backlog item to add campaign.ai_max_setting.enable_ai_max and campaign.ai_max_setting.bundling_required to the campaign_history table. I can't commit to a specific timeline, but I understand the importance of these fields, and we will prioritize them. Any additional upvotes from other Fivetran customers interested in this improvement will help increase the relative priority. 

    I'll update this thread when we pick this up.

    We've added the ai_max_setting_enable_ai_max and ai_max_setting_bundling_required columns to the CAMPAIGN_HISTORY table.
