Connector Improvement: Workday-HCM connector, Modify re-import frequency for CALCULATED_TIME_BLOCK table
AnsweredThe calculated_time_block table in workday_HCM table is a non-incremental (re-import) table by design and re-import cadence is automatically determined based on the duration of the previous import and user do not have a way to manipulate that in the connector level. When the import duration exceeds the internal threshold( the table is as below), the cadence adjusts automatically. There is currently no way to extend the 60-minute threshold, bypass it, or manually override the re-import frequency:
This is causing massive disruption in our business. It is a table that runs the analytics directly for daily production employees and it is very normal for this table to have huge data set. but once it takes more than 60 minutes to be synchronized, the entire week it gets skipped, by nature, which makes us manually run it every day. this is completely unacceptable.
we either need to have a way to adjust the table import duration limit or the default import frequency in the connector level. also it would be great if we can bypass it al together.
I already have an ongoing support Ticket#362421
