Other: In Alert section, for location , need way to identify Capture vs Integrate locations

In a new alert, if I want to monitor latency on ONLY capture channels, there is no way to do this, without checking each capture location individually. Also, when new capture locations are added, I have to edit Alert rule to do pick them again.

I am proposing a new putton inside "Only Check Specific Locations", and provide 2 buttons, one for Capture and one for Integrate. The idea is when I check the "Only Capture" button, it should pick all the capture locations automatically. And if any new capture locations are added, it should add them here automatically.

    Thank you for this request.

    To summarise what you're asking for:

    • Add a toggle "Only Check Specific Locations" for altering
    • Add a Capture / Integrate checkbox so that alerts automatically include all locations of that type, including any newly added ones, without manual updates.

    This is in line with your other request, and I will try to process them together.

    We have logged this as a feature request and will discuss this with product/engineering. We will come back to you once we have more clarity on workarounds or engineering solutions.

    Yes, I am asking for the below

    Additionally. it will also be nice if it lets us pick location based on a search string. 
    Example :
    I have oracle, postgres capture locations .
    I want to pick all oracle capture locations only. Currently, if I put a string in the search box, it shows me the locations with this search string. But, I still have to pick each one
    manually. Clicking the checkbox at the top, picks ALL locations, instead of only the ones with the search string.
