Connector Improvement: Oracle Binary Log Reader - Allow us to choose between online and archive redo logs
Support for online redo logs was recently announced. We do not have a need to read from the online logs as our archive logs are switched out every 15 minutes.
The connector currently throws a warning since we have not granted access to read the online logs. Support has said this is by design.
The request is to add a toggle in the connection setup that allows us to indicate whether we want you to attempt to read the online logs. If that toggle is not enabled, do not show a warning regarding the online redo logs.

This idea is already in our backlog. Introducing a toggle to select between online and archive redo logs makes sense, especially for customers who exclusively use archive logs and want to avoid unnecessary warnings.
