    Hi Adam,

Thank you for submitting your feature request for the Standard Metrics connector.

We will be starting our analysis to evaluate the feasibility of building and maintaining a high-quality Fivetran connector. As we move forward, we may reach out with additional questions or clarifications to ensure the connector aligns with your requirements and expectations.

In the meantime, could you briefly share your primary use case for this feature?

We appreciate your feedback and continued support - it plays a key role in shaping our roadmap.

    Best regards,
    Sahu

    Hi Sahu,

Thanks for picking this up. Here's our use case:

We're a venture firm using Standard Metrics to track portfolio company metrics and cap table data. We also use Fivetran to sync SM data into our PostgreSQL warehouse, where it feeds our internal portfolio management platform.

The current SM connector syncs companies, metrics, budgets, notes, users, and custom columns - but the cap table module is missing entirely. We need access to:

    - Financing events
    - Transactions
    - Share classes
    - Securities
    - Funds

This data is available via the SM API (`/api/v1/financing-events/`, `/api/v1/transactions/`, `/api/v1/share-classes/`, `/api/v1/securities/`, `/api/v1/funds/`) and visible in the SM UI under the Events, Transactions, and Overrides tabs - it's just not included in the Fivetran connector.

Having this in our warehouse would let us build portfolio valuation reports, track investment positions across funds, and cross-reference cap table data with the financial metrics we already sync.

    Best,
    Adam
