Other: SQL Server 2022 Feature to move T-log to S3

Team,

SQL server 2022 version has the feature to directly write the T-log backup and other to S3 bucket directly. we have similar implementation on our side, however we noticed that HVR is failing and it does not have capability to read the T-log from the S3 bucket. 

we request to you please consider and pritorize the ticket.

    Hi Anjul,

    Thank you for the request.

    I understand that HVR currently cannot read the logs from SQL Server's T-log backups in S3.

    We will review this with engineering to assess feasibility.

    In the meantime, have you tried exposing the S3 location via shared files so HVR can access it as a standard path?

    Edwin,

    Due to security constraints, we cant expose the S3 bucket on public platform and mount on the server directly.
