New Connector: Binary Log Reader - DB2 for i

We are currently using the High Volume Agent Db2 for i connector. We also used High Volume Agent connectors for SQL Server and Oracle, but have moved to the agentless Binary Log Reader connectors. This has been great in terms of reducing infrastructure. Is there anything planned to create a similar agent-less connector for DB2?

    Hi Joshua,



    Your understanding is correct. We are actively evaluating the development of a native, agentless Db2 for i (Db2i) connector. This effort is at an early stage, so we cannot provide a specific delivery timeline at this point. However, this connector is a committed long-term roadmap item for our team.



    Would you be interested in participating as a design partner to help shape the connector based on your use case and requirements?
