Connector Improvement: Ability to sync system tables more than once per day

One example of a system table is FIVETRAN_PICKLIST_FIELD_VALUE. If we add items to a Salesforce picklist, there can be a delay of up to 24 hours before they will sync to our destination systems. It would be nice to be able to configure that sync rate.

    Hi Doug,

    Thanks for the additional detail. This sounds like primarily a problem during development. Did you try making use of the table-level resync feature for this table during development? This would allow you to refresh the data whenever you need it.  Would love to hear your feedback on that approach if this is still an issue for you.

    Hi Doug,

    Thank you for raising this feature request. Currently, the sync duration for FIVETRAN_PICKLIST_FIELD_VALUE is set to 24 hours primarily due to performance limitations, as this is a full reimport table. That said, I would like to better understand your need for more frequent updates. Could you share more details on the use case you are trying to achieve with fresher picklist field values? This will help us evaluate potential options or alternative approaches.

    During development of objects and picklists in Salesforce, we are also developing processes and pipelines that use those objects. Having a built-in 24-hour delay before we can see and use that data slows down development.
