Connector Improvement: Linkedin Pages - Follower gain by post metrics
AnsweredHi there
For HR and employer branding initiatives, the number of followers is a key success indicator.
We can find this metric (follower gain) at the post level in the Linkedin Analytics interface, but it's not in your linkedin pages connector.
This one is absolutely a game changer (vs competition) when it comes to linkedin analytics.
This is what it looks like in the Linkedin UI.

thanks

Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for submitting this request. Unfortunately, I don't think LinkedIn provides this data via their API, so it isn't possible to provide it via the connector.Post (share/UGC) analytics includes: impressionCount, uniqueImpressionsCount, clickCount, likeCount, commentCount, shareCount, and engagement. There is no “followers gained from this post” (or “page viewers from this post”) field in the schema (source). Follower gains, but only at the org level over time, are available via organizationalEntityFollowerStatistics, returned as followerGains (organicFollowerGain, paidFollowerGain). This is not attributed to any specific post.
I'll keep an eye out for any updates from LinkedIn that would allow us to support this. If you're aware of other endpoints that could be used to retrieve this data, please let me know.
Thanks,
Luke
