Other: Channel & Location name Length restrictions

Hi Team,
We noticed that HVR restricting name length to 12 characters while creating locations & Channels with this restriction we are not able to create a meaningful names for respective channels or Locations . If we can allow the name length to 30 + characters we can make an meaningful names for our Locations /Channels.

Hi Naresh,
At present, we do not plan to extend the channel name. Instead, we offer a channel description that allows for more meaningful naming. The restriction on channel names exists because we may need to create various objects within the repository database, and object names are constrained by all the repository databases and versions we support. We will reassess this decision for the upcoming major HVR release. Since we just released HVR 6.3, it will still be a while before further updates.
