New Connector: Progress DB

We have a critical business requirement to replicate data from a Progress OpenEdge database hosted on a vendor platform. Currently, there is no lightweight connector or custom SDK available to facilitate this.

This data is vital for our operations, but because it resides on a third-party vendor platform, we have a very limited window of time to extract it. We are requesting a native Fivetran solution or guided support for Progress DB to meet this deadline and avoid a significant project blocker

    We have a requirement to ingest data from a Progress OpenEdge database into our data platform using Fivetran. Could you please review this source system and recommend the ideal integration approach, including whether a native connector, ODBC/JDBC connectivity, or an alternative method would be best suited for this use case?
