Other: HVR support/certify of Oracle 26ai
AnsweredOracle 23ai/26ai has been out for longtime, we are unable to move forward with GI home upgrade to 26ai as HVR may not be able to read redologs on 26ai ASM Diskgroup.
Requesting to prioritize certification/support of 26ai GI/DB Home.

Hi Jithendra,
We are currently prioritizing HVR support for Oracle 23ai. We plan to release support for Oracle 23ai without TDE in the next quarter. In parallel, we are actively working on the TDE-enabled version; however, we do not yet have an ETA, as it is expected to be further out.
Following this, Oracle 26ai will be added to our product roadmap.
Could you please confirm whether you are planning to use TDE?
Best regards,

Hi Edwin,
We are not planning to use TDE.
Also, Oracle has renamed 23ai to 26ai.
One question: Does HVR 6.3 support reading redologs from a 19c database on 26ai GI home?
Thanks
Jithendra

Hi Team,
Oracle AI Database 26ai has been available for some time, and we understand that HVR currently lists Oracle Database 21c as the latest supported Oracle database version for the relevant HVR 6 configuration.
As Oracle is increasingly moving customers toward Oracle AI Database 26ai, we request that the HVR team prioritize the certification and official support for Oracle AI Database 26ai, including both the Database Home and Grid Infrastructure (GI) Home.
Support for 26ai would help customers plan their database upgrade and migration activities and avoid having to remain on older database versions solely due to HVR compatibility constraints.
Could you please let us know:
- Expected timeline for HVR 6 certification/support for Oracle AI Database 26ai
- Whether 26ai support is already under development/testing
- Any interim supported configuration or recommended approach for customers planning to migrate to 26ai
We would appreciate it if this request could be prioritized.
please let us know.
