Connector Improvement: Enhance SFTP Connector To Remember Multiple SSH host-key fingerprint
AnsweredWe have identified that the SFTP server for our connector (ftp.onedatascan.com on port 2222) uses multiple backend nodes, each with a different SSH host key. As a result, the connector may encounter different fingerprints depending on which node it connects to. Since both keys are valid and expected, we request that the connector be configured to accept both fingerprints to ensure successful connections across all nodes.
SFTP connector name: raw_rediron_huntington_sftp.sftp_table

Hi Tanmaya,
Thanks for filing this request. For HA SFTP behind a load balancer, the typical approach is for all backend nodes to present the same SSH host key. If you (or your SFTP vendor) can standardize the host key across the nodes, our connector will see a consistent fingerprint and connect reliably regardless of which node it reaches.
Would this approach work for you?
Thanks,
Parmeet
