Connector Improvement: Fountain Connector

Hello Five Tran Team,

We recently imported our Fountain (recruiting, high-volume) data, but noticed it took 3 days to complete the sync.

Is there a reason why this connector takes a much longer time to sync compared to our other connections?

    Hi Maria-Elena,

    Thanks for reaching out. For Fountain, longer initial sync times are expected when there is a large amount of historical data. The connector backfills records in paginated batches (default limit of 25 items per request and a maximum limit of 100 items per page) while respecting Fountain’s API rate limits(120 requests per minute), which can make the first sync take a couple of days.

    This is a one-time process, and once the historical sync is complete, ongoing updates should run much faster. If you have any concerns or would like assistance, please reach out to our Support team.
