Other: Request for API Based Row Filtering Configuration
AnsweredCurrently configuring row filtering can only be done through the Fivetran UI. It would be highly beneficial for us to be able to configure row filtering via API. This capability would also save considerable expense for us in regards to MAR.
We have some connectors containing hundreds/thousands of identical schemas (tenant separated data models). We'd like to apply the same row filter criteria on the same table/column across all schemas, since we only need a slim portion of data from specific tables. Currently we are incurring high cost for records inserted on the table for records we ultimately aren't interested in using downstream.
Manually creating row filter definitions through UI will be quite laborious and prone to human error, so having API-based support for row filtering can allow us to programmatically create/update connections with table defined row filters.

Hi Brian,
Appreciate your post in our feature requests portal! We have planned to add support for setting up row filters using the API. We will address this approximately next quarter, and this will be available for our users soon. Please stay tuned for updates and let us know if you have any questions!

That would be great to have row filtering available through the API. We are developing automation to update connectors using the API, and row filtering is the missing piece.
Applying filters through the UI is not viable for our use case because human errors are likely to happen, so we cannot allow users to configure connection schemas manually.
