Other: Lack of lifecycle control through the API limits automation workflows (e.g., offboarding, temporary access revocation).
AnsweredThe HVR API lacks several essential account- and role-management capabilities that are required for efficient administration and automation through SailPoint in Dubai Islamic Bank. The following enhancements would close current functional gaps and support more complete user- and role-lifecycle management.
Retrieve Roles
Provide an API endpoint that returns a complete list of all defined roles (role names and metadata only), without including the users assigned to those roles.
Fetch a Single Account with Roles/Access
Ability to retrieve one specific account, including its associated access and role information.
Problem: The current endpoint /api/latest/hubs/hvrhub/props?fetch=User_Access returns all users, making targeted lookups inefficient and complex.
Fetch a Single Role with Assigned Users
Ability to query one role and return the full list of users who hold that role.
Problem: There is no role-centric lookup available today.
Enable an Account
Provide an endpoint to re-enable a disabled user account.
Problem: No API mechanism exists to change account status.
Disable an Account
Provide an endpoint to disable an existing account.
