Thank you very much for the follow-up — and for pointing out the endpoint. You're absolutely right; Confluence Cloud does provide a dedicated API now for retrieving an individual folder, and this endpoint wasn’t previously included in the set of documented content APIs we rely on for synchronization. It appears this specific folder endpoint was unintentionally overlooked in our earlier assessment, so we appreciate you calling it out.
 
I re-checked this with our engineering team, and they have now reviewed the https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/rest/v2/api-group-folder/#api-folders-id-get API in detail. The good news is that the endpoint looks technically feasible for us to integrate.
 
However, since this is going to be a new endpoint, to move this forward formally, our engineering team is requesting that you submit a Feature Improvement Request through our Feature Request Portal. This allows our product team to review the use case, prioritise it appropriately, and schedule the work. 
 
Once the request is accepted and prioritised, engineering will be able to begin the implementation.
