We are requesting the addition of AWS PrivateLink support for the Fivetran SFTP connector. Currently, we are attempting to connect Fivetran Cloud to the Pega Cloud SFTP service. Pega offers a private SFTP option that utilizes AWS PrivateLink, which significantly enhances security by eliminating the need to expose the SFTP endpoint to the public internet.

Business Case/Impact:
Our current security requirements prefer or mandate private connectivity options to prevent public exposure of data endpoints. Since the current Fivetran SFTP connector does not support PrivateLink, we are unable to utilize the secure, private SFTP connection pattern provided by Pega Cloud. Adding this support would allow us to securely ingest data from Pega Cloud (and other services offering PrivateLink SFTP) while adhering to strict network security topologies.
