Connector Improvement: deployments endpoint getting hit a lot

Hi,
I was playing around with our exported GitHub data.
Good stuff all around, but noticed how the exporter is hammering the deployment status endpoint for no good reason. This prompted me to look at where deployments are used in our org right now and that's not proportional to the rate limit usage.
Can you look into improving this? It adds significant delays to the data sync.

Hi Balint,
Thanks for raising this request. I'm having our team look into it. Even though there may not be new events, our connector still will have to make a request every sync to check for updates which could be why you are seeing requests come in but no new data.

More info, we have a few repos with a lot of deployments and deploy statuses BUT these haven't received any new events since April!
So it's still fair to say the activity doesn't match the API usage
