Connect Card: Feature to block table name editing for any file connector (e.g., S3 connector) when using the connector card flow

Previously, we could specify the table name during setup and restrict the end user from changing or removing it. 
However, after this feature https://fivetran.com/docs/connectors/files/amazon-s3/changelog#april2025 was introduced, it is no longer possible to restrict table creation — the end user can now delete existing tables or create new ones with different naming formats. This behavior can break several workflows that depend on fixed table names.
 
We would like to have an option in the connector card that prevents end users from removing existing tables or creating new tables, ensuring data consistency and avoiding workflow disruptions.

Use case: we have some workflows with standardized CSV that depend on the table name. Our users can now make mistakes and accidentally change the name of the final table (which is now tied to the name of the csv)

    Let me get this in front of the team, I think this is a pretty reasonable request and your use case makes sense. Have you had any customers break workflows unexpectedly yet?

    Hi Jimmy,
    Yes , we have many clients using csv and s3 and this broke change broke their workflow. We had to ask them to be careful when adjusting the files to not rename the tables
