Connector Improvement: Cocounsel Datadog connector - Retaining nested column in main table when introducing flatten feature

As suggested by Fivetran team in the support ticket (Case #300629), raising this feature request. In the connector 'Cocounsel datadog', for the rum_event table, Fivetran support team mentioned that the nested column(rum_event_attribute) will be removed from main table once the flattening feature is enabled. But we would like to keep the nested column in main table also as we have now and also have breakout table for flattened data when we enable the flattening option. This will help ensure that our existing process which is based on nested column in main table is not affected.
