Visibility into replication lag for replication-based syncs
AnsweredWe have a high throughput database that has been running an incomplete sync for longer than a week. We aren't sure it's ever going to finish syncing.
If we could see a graph of replicalag, and see whether it's ever decreasing, we could easily assess that.

Hi Juliano,
Thanks for your feedback. I understand your concern with WAL slot lag for Postgres, especially on a high volume and important database. Unfortunately, WAL slot lag can occur for a variety of reasons.
We don't currently have system monitoring or diagnosing tools on our roadmap, but it is an interesting piece of feedback.
Our current priority is to improve performance and replication speed and reliability for database connectors. Ideally, we can sync these high volume tables very quickly and efficiently so you do not have to worry about slot lag from our connector.
