Okta Authentication for Facebook and SEO ( Google Search Console ) connectors
AnsweredAt present as checked with Fivetran Facebook Pages and Google Search Console connectors does not support system token authentication or Okta authentication.
Facebook Pages and Google Search Console uses individual user authentication, we can move forward with this authentication the challenge we encounter is that user accounts may expire (due to inactivity) or the holders of these accounts may leave the company; if either of these happen, there is a risk that the Connector connectivity will break and data ingestion will fail.
Here we are submitting a feature request for single authentication mechanism for the connectors we will be using with Fivetran.
Thanks!

Madhu, in what circumstance would you not want to use a company email address for authentication? That would likely be a requirement for Okta authentication.
We have looked into token authentication more broadly across connectors. Improvements in this area are on our roadmap. It would be great to get even more input on this thread! What do you want from token auth, what do you not want, and what problems are you working to solve?

Regarding Okta authentication for connectors, could you kindly let us know on which scenarios Okta authentication will be helpful for instance we will not be always using our company email address for authentication.
