Connector Improvement: Xero

Hi,

My business uses the Fixed Asset Management "advanced" feature of Xero.

As far as I know, it's not a paid-for extension, i.e. it's included in the base Xero Accounting subscription.

It uses a different API: https://developer.xero.com/documentation/assets-api/overview 

The API is very simple for read-only operations: you would need to add a scope to your existing auth process, but then there's only a couple of endpoints to GET the whole dataset of... three tables, I think.

If this could be added to the Xero connector, I think it would be helpful.

    we are considering this in our current Q1 planning and will update here when we know if it has made the cut.

    Hi Anna,

    These data are now being processed as part of the Xero connector.

    I have now implemented source models in dbt for the tables, and will present the data (following some subsequent modelling) to our Finance and IT teams.
