Dashboard Improvement: Filter incident notification emails to only connectors actually used
AnsweredSince I've got a fair few incident notifications lately, but none of the connectors having issues are used in our instance, I think it would be a great improvement if users in a specific instance would only get these incident notification emails if the connector is used in their instance at least once.

Hi Daniel Demmel! That is a fabulous suggestion and I've added it to our backlog, specifically for a redesign of all our user facing notifications. In the inter-rim, what are you doing to reduce the noise?

Hey @...,
Ah great, glad it resonated!
In the interim, every 3 hours I'm lighting incense and throwing a handful of seeds behind my back in all directions of the compass... OK, I'm joking, I'm just hoping I won't get more 😺 they don't come that often that I could be bothered to set up email filters based on connector names, but probably that would be my way of dealing with them, though I'd probably worry a bit that I might miss a relevant notification.

+1 on this.
I have email filters that specifically pull to the top any emails from fivetran about errors of sync failures + their resolution. The noise from connectors we don't use is diluting the power of that filter (i.e. alert fatigue, crying wolf).
I would really appreciate the ability to subscribe automatically to notifications about connectors I use (with a manual opt out option) and a manual opt out unsubscribe from connectors I do not use.
