Other: Certification for Snappy as a log backup tool used in SAP Rise

Hi Team,
 
We are currently migrating an instance to SAP Rise and have noted that Snappy has replaced Tivoli as the backup tool for logs.
 
We understand that Snappy is not yet certified by Fivetran. As we have additional systems scheduled for migration to SAP Rise, obtaining certification for Snappy would be highly beneficial for our future planning and operations.
 
Please let us know if you require any further information from our end to support this.

    Hi Pankaj,

    The Fivetran HVR interface with HANA Backint is generic and not tied to any specific backup tool used for storing logs. This means we do not certify or restrict particular backup solutions — all should work as expected.

    If you encounter any issues with configuring HVR or setting up communication with Backint, I recommend reaching out to our support team for assistance.
