New Connector: Adyen (Balance) Platforms Reporting API

Adyen has 2 different reporting APIs:

  •  Payments Reporting API used for settlement, received-payments, and chargeback reports
  • Platform Reporting API which is used for more detailed reporting capturing all movements of payments, is currently not configurable through Fivetran

When trying to use the platform API keys with the existing Adyen connector results into an error and the support team confirmed that Fivetran does not yet integrate with Adyen for Platforms / Balance Platform APIs, which is why setup fails when using credentials from the Platforms tab.

This is impacting our month-end reporting reconciliations for payments and resulting in manual work. 

Is this new Adyen connector on the roadmap and what is the timeline?

    Thanks for submitting this request, we'll be treating this as adding additional data support for the Adyen connector. We've added this to our feature improvements backlog. This is a valuable suggestion, especially given your reliance on Adyen’s platform data for month-end payment reconciliations.

    Hi Everyone,

    We've looked into this further-

    To clarify, the existing Adyen connector supports the Payments Reporting API (settlement, received payments, chargebacks) but does not currently cover the Balance Platform Reporting API, which uses a separate set of credentials and endpoints. These are distinct product offerings from Adyen, and adding native support for Balance Platform would require a separate connector on our end.

    We've logged your request and we will prioritize it according to demand. You'll be notified if this moves onto our roadmap.

    In the meantime, if you'd like to unblock your reporting sooner, you can use our Connector SDK to build a custom Adyen Balance Platform connector. The SDK lets you define your own data source and sync logic using Python, with Fivetran handling the orchestration, scheduling, and delivery to your destination.
