Connector Improvement: Description to Connectors

Currently we cannot add any description to Connectors. This would help us to view the connection details in UI. This would enhance our monitoring capability. If it can be added as additional column in the UI that would be great.
Additionally, if Connection name can be customized and not dependent on the destination schema name.

This feature is not currently on our roadmap. We track feedback and upvotes to gauge demand, and every upvote increases the case for us to build this functionality.
To help justify future commitment, could you provide more detail on your use case and how a connector description and customizable connection name would support your workflows?
