Connector Improvement: Azure Blob Storage - xls/xlsx/xlsm formats

Is it possible to request that Azure Blob Storage container handle xls/xlsx/xlsm format types like the SFTP connector.  We have vendors/users that use these formats and are saved to Azure containers. Currently, I won't be able to ingest this data using the Azure Blob Storage container.

    Thank you for this suggestion. The request to support xls/xlsx/xlsm file formats in the Azure Blob Storage connector has been added to our feature improvements backlog.

    I am interested to learn more about your use case. What are the cases where you need to use an Azure Blob Storage server for the file transfer? Any details on your workflow or the nature of the data involved would help us better define requirements. Would you be willing to share example files so help us understand the exact format they take?

    Updates regarding this enhancement will be shared on this thread as progress is made.
