Connector Improvement: Support for Eloqua Event Registration Objects in Fivetran Connector
AnsweredCurrently, the Eloqua connector in Fivetran syncs data from the Custom Objects endpoint. However, certain Eloqua data assets such as Event Registrations are available only under the /api/rest/2.0/assets/eventRegistration/ endpoint and are not part of the standard Custom Objects list.
In our use case, we need to ingest data from an Event Registration object named “FY 21-22-23-24-25-26 Open House” (ID: 148). When querying this through Eloqua’s REST API, the response confirms that the object exists under the EventRegistration type, not as a Custom Object. Since Fivetran currently does not support this endpoint, the data cannot be synced automatically.
We request adding support for Eloqua Event Registration assets so these event-based datasets can be integrated along with other Eloqua objects.
Proposed Enhancement:
-
Extend the Eloqua connector to include Event Registration endpoints (
/assets/eventRegistration/) -
Allow users to select specific event registration objects for ingestion

Hi Dileep,
Luke from the Product team here. Thanks for submitting this request! It looks like our connector can use this Eloqua endpoint to get the data you need: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/marketing/eloqua-rest-api/op-api-rest-2.0-assets-eventregistrations-get.html. We could create a new EVENT_REGISTRATION table to store this data.
This feature makes sense. I've added it to our backlog. I'll let you know once it's reviewed by the team and we have a timeline for when it can be implemented.
Could you provide more details about your second proposed enhancement: "Allow users to select specific event registration objects for ingestion"? What is your use case?
Cheers,
Luke -
This was a priority ask for one of our business groups. Please help get this the earliest you can. I have upvoted this feature request as well.
