We are a central team handling ingestions through Fivetran SaaS and HVR.

 

An important part of our Service is to provide information when the tables written have been last updated.

Since we use a mix of SaaS and HVR delivering the “unified table log" feature naturally requires harmonisation of the fivetran platform metadata connector logs table and HVR_STATS table from the HVR Postgres database.

 

While we have made some progress to harmonise up to a certain point, we realised that the structure of “logs” (SaaS) and “HVR_STATS" (HVR) tables is quite different.

 

It would be great if fivetran product could provide a View in the HVR database that makes it look like the logs table of SaaS, or the other way around.

 

One of our requirements is that the latency of this harmonization should be as small as possible.
