    Hi Manoj,

Thanks for explaining this. We are working on a solution to providing the column names for blocking ahead of initiating the sync. I will update this ticket once we have implemented the solution.

    Hi Manoj,

I read the ticket, but I might be missing some context on the column issue specifically. Can you help elaborate and/or provide an example of what you mean by "ingesting only selected columns"?

    Thanks,

    Frank

    Hi Frank,

In our project we had a requirement to ingest a few tables from multiple workday domains.

However, we didn't need all the columns from the selected few table e.g we wanted to ingest worker but not all the 90+ columns from that table into Snowflake. The reason was the internal workday team wanted to ingest only the required columns and not all. However, when we tried to do that in Fivetran schema, we werent able to that and while contacted the support team advised that its not possible at this moment. Reference ticket is #301654.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Manoj

Thanks Frank, kindly apprise in case you have some updates on this.

    Thanks,

    Manoj

    Hi Manoj,

In the short term we have fixed a bug where the schema was being loaded without the columns so columns should be loaded when the schema fetch is complete. We are working on a long term solution to load the schema faster for customers in the future.

    Thanks,

    Frank

Dear Frank, Pls do apprise if there is any update on this.

    Thanks,

    Manoj

Hi Manoj, are you still facing issues with the schema fetch not showing columns? I believe we fixed a bug in the schema fetch that was preventing columns not showing up.

    Thanks,

    Frank
