Connector Improvement: Add parameter support (start/end date) for Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) data models in Fivetran to enable batched, incremental extracts for high-volume objects
PlannedAs a data engineer, I want Fivetran to pass P_START_DATE and P_END_DATE to my Oracle BIP data model so that I can extract ERP/HCM data in manageable time windows (e.g., 7-day batches), ensure incremental updates using a bookmark column, and avoid timeouts or manual report cloning.
Configurable Parameters: I can declare BIP parameter name/type/value templates in the connector UI.
BIP Data Model Publishing: We will publish a custom BIP data model with parameters (e.g., P_START_DATE, P_END_DATE) and a corresponding report that uses the model.

Hi Ash,
We are working on supporting incremental syncs for high volume reports. This feature will work by having you create a custom data model and define an incremental column within that report that our connector would read and sync incrementally. Would that work for your particular use case?
