Connector Improvement: Workday Financial Management: log event when schema is update by Fivetran

Hi,

For Workday Financial Management, when there is an api issue e.g. change in security domain or other cause of the api being unavailable, Fivetran will continue to try to sync the table for a few days. Days later, it will automatically update the schema, deselect the table, and stop trying to sync the table. There is a message in the dashboard about the schema being updated by Fivetran.

We would like to see logs for events where the schema is automatically updated by Fivetran so that we can programmatically detect when an issue occurs and can take appropriate action.

    Thanks for submitting this request. Just so I understand: when we encounter an issue with an API being unavailable, you are asking for a dashboard warning immediately when we are unable to sync this table? Or are you asking for a different type of notification?

    We're looking for a webhook or Fivetran platform connector event log. 

    There are two different scenarios. One where the API is unavailable (usually temporarily), and the second when Fivetran automatically updates the schema when the API is unavailable. We must know about the automatic schema updates since Fivetran stops querying for table.
