Connector Improvement: Skilljar connector cannot sync daily

We are trying to use the Skilljar connector to sync our data on a daily basis. Currently the connector takes ~ 1.5 - 2 days to run. There's no way to decrease the frequency of runs so we get sync alerts each day as the connector is not meeting its freshness SLA.
I've been informed that the reason for this is that the Skilljar API does not support retrieve "changed" data from a specific date, and so the connector is syncing the entire dataset each day. Skilljar are rate limiting the API so it is taking a long time.
The request here is to work with Skilljar to solve these technical problems so that the connector work just works for us.
