Connector Improvement: Select 1 table multiple times

Dear Fivetran,

I would like to request an additional feature from Fivetran on SAP_HANA connection.
At the moment, I am only able to sync a table once per connection, as shown below.

I need the ability to sync a single table multiple times, as illustrated below.

This would allow us to select the TABLE_SOURCE_NAME from the source database and define the TABLE_DESTINATION_NAME that will be written to the destination.


The reason I need this is because it would enable parallel processing and also make it easier to filter only the required data, rather than having to load the entire dataset.

    Hi Benidicta,

    Our SAP connector already performs automatic parallel processing for table slices during historical sync. Additionally, these filters on BSEG would only impact your initial load, as BSEG will not be updated with changes for closed fiscal years. The current filtering method would accommodate this approach, but you would need to duplicate this table across multiple connections. Having multiple filters on a single table within a single connection is not currently planned. We will add such a feature to the request list.
