Connector Improvement: Workday Financial Management table dependencies
CompletedHi,
For Workday Financial Management, there are tables that are unable to be synced without selecting other tables. There is no documentation that lists the dependency or relationship. e.g. commitment_ledger and obligation_ledger can only be synced when ledger is enabled.
Can we get a tooltip, similar to the stripe connector that shows the dependency relationship or a programmatic way to discover the relationship?
Thanks

Hi Richard,
Thanks for submitting this request. We've added a warning detailing this relationship for future reference.

Thanks,

Hi Richard,
Thanks for submitting this request. We'll look into how we can best address this so you have the visibility into API dependencies for this connector.
In the meantime, a workaround we can offer is to review our ERD so that you can understand the table relationships and see the API's that are called for those tables.
We'll keep you updated on this thread as we make progress.
Thanks,

What about other tables? Is there a programmatic way to discover the dependency relationship?

Hi Richard,
Ledger and it's child tables (obligation_ledger, commitment_ledger) is the only table that has this undepicted relationship. Other tables that have parent child dependencies are linked in the schema tab such as "balance_transaction" and "fee" in the screenshot above.
