Other: Team-Based Email Notifications and Alerts

A way to configure alert and email notifications to be sent to a Fivetran team, rather than only to individual email/ distribution list. Ideally, this could be done by:

Allow creation of Fivetran teams (as already supported in "Users & Permissions") to be reused in notification and alert configuration

Providing more flexible notification settings that can be shared across a team instead of having to configure them per user
Current Issue:
Right now, alert emails and notifications (e.g., connector failures, sync issues, account updates) can only be sent to individual emails. This creates challenges when:

Team members go on leave or change roles

New team members join and need to manually configure alerts

Knowledge and responsibility need to be shared across a data or engineering team

Teams use shared inboxes or distribution lists to manage incident response

Adding support for team-based notifications will:

Improve incident response times by ensuring the right group is notified immediately

Reduce operational overhead of managing individual notification preferences

Support better collaboration and visibility within data teams

Help organizations align Fivetran alerting with how their teams and workflows are actually structured

This feature is not currently on our roadmap. However, we rely on user feedback and upvotes to help us gauge demand and prioritize new functionality. Each upvote on this request increases the case for us to consider building team-based email notifications and alerts in the future.
